This I bought to get rid of my acne scarring. I bought it without reading any reviews, I've now read some and it has mixed opinions but I needed a replacement moisturiser, so even if in four week this hasn't made any difference to my scarring I am liking it as a moisturiser, its a nice base for makeup.

Finally got my hands on a Taylor Swift perfume. As my perfume collection is running low I thought I would purchase a lovely perfume by one of my favourite artist Taylor Swift. I did originally think I would get the purple/blue/grey bottle i.e the original one but honestly I thought they smelt very similar only the enchanted was a bit more sugary and in my opinion it was a prettier bottle.

............. yep and my feet are wide so I need wide foot sized 3 shoes, it doesn't cause my any problems at all (sarcasm). Therefore whenever I see a pair of sized 3 wide foot shoe I snap them up in an instant.

Maybelline dream touch blush mini review & pictures

My review of the Maybelline dream touch blush.

This is the colour 02 peach, They are sold in both Superdrug and Boots for £6.49. Maybelline brought these out as part of the dream line. At the time I loved their dream matte mouse foundation, which I now hate, and so though I would try something else from the range. This was my first every cream blush and I love it. Its so natural looking, gives a really healthy glow, this colour is a very natural (for me) peachy pink with few gold shimmers that leave it having a nice glowing finish. Its soooo easy to apply it is really like a dream.

You can see how much I loved it, I've made quite a dent.

You wouldn't wear it like this on your cheeks I wanted to give you a look at the colour.

This has definitely become my favourite maybelline product, its definitely my favourite drugstore blush although I really want to try the Bourjois cream blush's that hit stores May 15th. This blush is probably third over all behind benefits dandelion and benefits coralista.

I can't wait to try out more of the colours, the darkest colour -plum- looks a bit too harsh for my skin tone but I really want to try the colour apricot and berry.

It gets my approval

My Skin care routine (about 90% drugstore)

Firstly I remove all makeup with these simple cleansing wipes. I haven't found anyones better that I can also use to take off my eye makeup. They are £3.25 per pack but usually they have offers such as 3 for 2.

Then I use the deep cleansing lotion from clean and clear. Yes this was in my last empties video- I repurchased it. It really helps tone pores and really feels like it cleans my skin.

Next I use the blackhead clearing cleanser because as I love the deep cleansing lotion so much I though this would really work for my blackheads. I don't feel that it has made progress of clearing them but they are definitely less noticeable. Wont be repurchasing this though as I feel its a watered down version of the deep cleansing lotion.

This was also featured in my last empties video but I repurchased it! I really love this every morning in my shower but if I'm up for it I will do it in the evening as well. I love the way it has a pump also.

If I am having a bath I will use this Blue Lagoon silica mud mask. This I picked up on a school trip to iceland so I'm pretty sure its not available over here and its ridiculously expensive. You can get it online  but I've never tried it myself so not sure on shipping availability or costs. I got this at duty free so it was £40 compared to £50 (This is the non-drustore product)

Neutrogena visibly clear blackhead eliminating daily scrub. This scrub may be the reason my black head have reduced in size but I still believe its the clean and clear lotion. This scrub is boring me to death but I have been using it for ages and it still looks full! I'm trying to use it up as my friend swears by it but says it takes a while to kick in. Hopefully it will be featured in my next empties post where I will tell you if it ever finally kicked in.

So right now I am actually all out of moisturizer because I used all my old ones up before going out to purchase a new one which was this one. This has actually all gone now and I'm going to repurchase it on saturday. This will be back into my daily routine post saturdays shopping trip to boots.

Last but not least is the freederm gel. This I put on spots over night and I feel it really helps, although it doesnt completely clear them. Good for cheap though.

My Hair routine

Lets jump right in

My Favourite shampoo right now is the Aussie Miracle moist shampoo and conditioner. I love this so much it has done wonders to my awful hair, before I used this my hair was like straw due to my dip dye and lazy hair care routine. If you have dry hair go get it. Its amazing.

Weekly I use the 3 Minute Miracle moist *disclaimer: yes this is the same photo I used in my empties photo but I have repurchased it, I didn't think I would need a new photo for the same product*

I use it once a week as I feel like thats the most effective method. My hair is ridiculously thirsty so I leave it in for 5 minutes in the bottom 3/4's of my hair. This product is the reason I didn't repurchase my Phillip Kingsley Elasticizer. Which for the 100ml less you pay £25 and the actual process you leave the conditioner in for 10-20 minutes. The aussie you pay £5 for 250ml and it only takes 3 minutes to work :D.

This John Freida serum is lasting me forever, and to be honest I know I'm not going to repurchase it, its quite thick and feels to heavy. My favourite serum in the drugstore is the tresemme split remedy serum so I know that is definitely being bought as soon as I get through this. I'm not even half way through now even though I've had it for about two months. Its frizz-ease and thermal protection I have been through a mini of the original frizz-ease which I prefer to this one but you know you have to experiment in products but this wont be a repurchase.

John Frieda Frizz-ease heat defeat.

Its heat defendant what more can I say. I think what I like about this is the spray. So many heat defendants have really strong sprays, the best srapys are from tresemme if you ask me but I love the way this bottle is. The spray is really fine and its so easy to spray on (do you know what i mean?) sometimes I cant handle a stiff standard cap when I'm trying to hold this hair here and this hair here and I need some styling spray etc.. 

Just want to say I don't wash and blow dry my hair everyday on days when its not freezing cold I try to let it dry naturally. So the heat protectors/styling products are what I use when I blow dry or style my hair.

This product I use if I want a bit of volume so If I'm going out, not for everyday use.

This is the John Frieda Luxurious Volume thickening blow dry lotion. This I spray at the very roots and on the very top layer of my hair. If you put this all through your hair it will make it crunchy and not very nice. This I feel is a nice alternative method of getting volume other than spraying hairspray under the roots of my hair.

Whilst I'm at it I though I'd put a few pictures of my two favourite styling tools. First my Ghd Pink Cherry Blossom. The packaging for these that they came in was so beautiful I didn't want to open it. I have been waiting for a pink ghd to come out. Or something that had hints of pink so It would match my hairdryer and my room. Because I'm weird like that. These I bought off amazon and I love they are the classic gold styler but instead of gold plates it had hot pink plates and it has pink detailing. You can still get them on amazon here

This is my favourtie curling Iron. Creates the best natural curls that aren't to tight and fake they are nice big waves. Its a 38mm barrel and has 4 temperature settings. Its sold on amazon: click here: and its affordable right now on amazon its £15 but the price ranges up to £25 depending on where you buy it.

Favourite Candles

Sadly in the UK we can't pop into the nearest Bath and Bodyworks.
So I wanted to show you what my favourite ones are. 

1.Blush by Lily-bomb cosmetics.
I loveee this, smells like some sort of perfume! Which I want a biiigg bottle of. The price ranges where you are I bought this for £8.50 but I have seen them for £15!

2. Yankee Candle Vanilla Cupcake.
Yuuummm makes me hungry :( it actually does. This sample I picked up for £1.50 and the full version is on my shoppping list. It smells like vanilla and a cake ready on the oven.

3. Yankee Candle Red Velvet.
This is quite similar to the vanilla cupcake but has a chocolate scent as well. YUM. Again the full version is on the shopping list.

4.Yankee Candle Pink Dragon Fruit.
Now sometimes I just can't bare the hunger from the cupcake candles this one is really fruity and springy and sweet and fresh, not such a relaxing scent more of a revival refreshing scent.

April Favourites 2013

April Makeup Favourites.

1. MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighting powder- my review: click here
2. Vaseline Pink Bubbly- Love! Vaseline but better x I love vaseline its amazzziinngg

3. Revlon PhotoReady BB cream light. This BB cream I love, the real thing I hates about drugstore bb cream were that they looked like you just covered your face in oily sunscreen. This one due to the photoready pigment thingys gives a more natural finish. Its thicker and has more coverage! I recommend it over even the garnier one- which I liked but the colour "light" was too dark :(.

4. Benefit silk- finish in Jing-a-ling. Although only buying it on monday I've worn it everyday! It's so light and smooth. Its a nice everday colour and I feel this could be "my" colour for years to come.

5.Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation. Best foundation on the market: for my review: click here

6. Real Techniques Contour brush (from the core collection). Its cheap go getch you some.

7.Barry M Nail pain in Yellow Topaz Glitter- Love to put this over my nail polish. Especially on my ring finger.

8. Maybelline Dream touch blush-02 peach: amazing I love this cream blush, I love cream blushes in general. Glides on softly and blends in nicely. Gives you a natural glow and has some shimmer.

9. Mua Nail Polish in Pistachio Ice cream: I lurvvveeeee really similar to Essie's Mint Candy Apple.

11. Barry M nail paint #342 Nude. As I'm not allowed to wear nail polish to school I'm always looking for a really natural polish that I can get away with. This is it. 3 coats gives you an opaque light nearly white baby pink. But one or two coats gives a nice glaze :)

12. Real Techniques Buffing Brush (Core collection): I use this to buff in my foundation which is good but this is especially amazing with my mac loose mineralised foundation powder. 

13. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain- 001 Honey. This is such a lovely colour I want to eat it. It leaves a minty taste which I love. Its drugstore- go get it.

Sorry there were no skin care favourites- didn't discover anything new and good this month :(

Benefit Lipstick haul

Only bought two thought I should do a quick picture haul


I lost my benefit jing-a-ling and was very upset so bought another whilst they were on sale for £7.
